Help us protect the "Old Field" for the next generation! 🟢⚫️
Killeavy GAC has been the heart of our community since 1886. But as any of our 1,200+ members will tell you our founding field is starting to show its age. To keep up with 35 teams and modern safety standards, the 'Old Field' needs a serious facelift.
The Big News: We’ve been approved for match funding by Sport NI’s Olympic Legacy Fund!🤝
Here’s the deal: If we can raise 35% of our £50,000 goal WITHIN 6 WEEKS, they will step in and cover the remaining 65%. It’s a massive opportunity to make every pound you give go twice as far.
What we’re building together:
🛡️New Perimeter Fencing: Keeping our players safe and the grounds secure.
🚶1km Community Walking Track: Complete with solar lighting so everyone can get their steps in, year-round.
🏠Modern Dugouts: Giving our athletes the professional-standard facilities they deserve.
This isn’t just about football, hurling, or camogie. It’s about making sure our club remains a safe, vibrant home for everyone in our community.
How you can help:
1. Donate: No amount is too small. Every penny brings us closer to that 65% match.
2. Share: Send this to friends, family, and Killeavy expats across the globe🌍
3. Leave Your Mark: Help us prep the Old Field for the next 140 years of Killeavy members.
🚨 Can we ask that you please use Gift Aid when donating- this comes at no cost to them but gives the club extra money🚨
